Knowledge Management in Our Workplace

It is becoming important to apply the techniques in knowledge management in our workplace. Could you share your experiences with me?

There are some points we may think about:
1. Publish your ideas for others to read or comment
2. Inform colleagues about new information
3. Improve a document with coworkers
4. Meet new people to develop new ideas
5. Find images for a presentation
6. Link to ideas of industry leaders
7. Ask for help
8. Find a new job
9. Listen to an expert
10. See what other people think about an issue

As a social worker, do you think you can easily ask for help within your organization? If not, why? Any proposed ways to solve it? Raymond

Hi ken,

Let me propose one. It is to build a virtual space for storytelling and encourage the staff to participate. It is a proven way to know who knows what and let others to ask for help. By using the current technologies, you may not need to pay any to build such a virtual space. The only things you need to do to start is to form a small team to do storytelling. You may try to visit the website www.km-stories.com for some ideas.

If you are interested in building a storytelling website, I may lead you how to do that. Raymond
